recumbent ads (private parties) for free...Making a quality recumbent bicycle requires
engineering, testing, and a whole lot of quality parts. For this
reason recumbent bikes tend to be a little on the "expensive" side.
For many - too expensive. So a used bike may just fit the bill.
A second issue is how difficult it is for many to find a dealer nearby
so they make a purchase then a couple of months later they decide the
bike does't have the right "feel" for them, and they need to move on
to a different model. So classifieds are the perfect solution
for all.
